The Basics of Google Drive
Google has developed a number of tools that can be used on a variety of devices (desktop computers, laptops, Chromebooks, tablets and smartphones) for free. The skills developed in using these tools are transferable to Microsoft Office and most other computer/smartphone-based activities. But many teachers and students are unaware of the wide variety of Google apps and many of the functions these apps afford. In this series we will explore Google Drive and five of the Google apps that have promising uses in education: Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Forms, and Google Keep.
